Holding each other through it all
“Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.”

— bell hooksThe Holding Fund takes its name from my continued belief in the spirit of holding each other through it all. The spirit of therapy lies in making room for emotional experiences, feelings and thoughts to be held in a safe space. This Fund invites you to help others gain access to the same holding.
In hopes of making care more accessible, I offer a limited number of reduced-fee places. This work is long-term, and cost can often decide whether someone can stay with it long enough for it to help. The Fund is how those places stay open.
If you are in a position to pay a little more than your fee, I gently invite your support. Your generosity helps someone access long-term care that otherwise would not be possible. There is no obligation or expectation — just the quiet feeling that you have helped someone be here.
If cost is what stands between you and beginning therapy, you are welcome to mention it during our introductory call, or to say so when you write to me. If a place is available, I will let you know.
Whether you would like to ask about a place or to support one, you’re welcome to write to me.
