A space to think and feel
“Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.”
— Carl Jung“Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.”
— Carl JungI use a psychodynamic, psychoanalytic and relational frame in my work. What this means is that we look together at feelings, patterns and situations that repeat. This work unfolds slowly because it goes deep. We stay with anything that was not given room before. I work with what you’re saying and equally what you’re not saying. The spoken and the unspoken.
Slowly, we arrive at what is happening beneath the surface. Making room for what could not be understood and held before: memories, dreams, desires, fears and anything else that feels important. This creates space for lasting change to arrive.
Sessions are regular and usually weekly. I specialise in working with adults on any concern that requires in-depth exploration. These often include childhood trauma, grief, attachment, relationships, work and sense of self.
The relationship between us is a central focus of our work together. The therapeutic relationship helps us understand your internal world in a way that no other relationship can. This form of therapy is not a quick fix. It is work that requires time, space and effort to evolve but can be incredibly rich and meaningful.
Whether you have a question or want to explore working together, you’re welcome to write to me.
